The 2023 GT Tested Reader Survey awards gala was an elegant evening celebrating excellence in travel. Held in December 2023 at The Langham Huntington, Pasadena, the event honored the winners of Global Traveler’s 20th annual GT Tested Reader Survey awards before an audience of industry leaders, honorees and readers.
Chosen by our readership, the award recipients accepted their honors amid the hotel’s graceful, gold-accented architecture and soft-blue decor. As the 20th anniversary of the GT Tested Reader Survey, the gala recognized two decades of the program and highlighted organizations and individuals that consistently deliver outstanding travel experiences. Several winners celebrated milestone achievements with fifth- and 10th-consecutive wins, while a select few received Platinum Status for winning the same category for 20 straight years.
Platinum award recipients this year included Asiana Airlines, which earned recognition for Best Airline for Flight Attendants and Best Airline for Onboard Service. Chicago O’Hare International Airport was named Best Airport in North America for the 20th consecutive year, and United MileagePlus took home its 20th Best Overall Frequent-Flyer Program award. In addition to the category winners, the evening also paid tribute to the Airline and Hotel of the Year laureates and to recipients of the Outstanding Diversity & Inclusion in Travel awards.
