Four Seasons to Open Nine New Hotels Next Year

Four Seasons is set to open nine new hotels and resorts this year, expanding its collection beyond the current 111 properties in 47 countries.

Scheduled openings include Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens; Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Bangkok at Chao Phraya River; Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Bengaluru at Embassy ONE; Four Seasons Resort and Residences Los Cabos at Costa Palmas; Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Madrid; Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Montreal; Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley; Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences One Dalton Street, Boston; and Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center.

“Four Seasons is well positioned for continued success in 2019 with the steady and strategic growth of our global portfolio,” said Christian Clerc, president of worldwide hotel operations for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. “Our portfolio is growing at a healthy pace as we focus on high-quality projects in destinations our guests seek. We remain committed to the highest standards of hospitality as we expand with a diverse collection of properties, including our first entries in Greece and Spain, our first resort set within a world-class vineyard in Napa Valley, and our inaugural standalone residences in London.”

Looking ahead, Four Seasons anticipates substantial residential growth: over the next five years the company expects to double its residential portfolio, with more than 80 percent of development projects including a residential component.

“By emphasizing our residential offerings, we are strengthening our position as a leader in luxury branded residences,” Clerc added. “Eight of the nine anticipated openings this year incorporate residences, underscoring the growing importance of branded residences to Four Seasons’ growth strategy and to luxury consumers who want to make Four Seasons their home.”
