China Southern has launched a second daily service between London Heathrow and Guangzhou (CAN), effective June 1.
The carrier now operates an additional year-round flight on its Boeing 787 from Heathrow’s Terminal 4. The new departure is scheduled earlier than the existing service, which shortens connection times for many onward journeys.
“Our mission is to make diverse destinations like China more accessible for UK travellers, so we’re thrilled to be able to add a second daily flight from London to Guangzhou,” said Nick Newman, commercial manager for UK and Ireland, China Southern.
“This increased frequency raises our total weekly departures between Western Europe and China to 41 and underlines our ongoing expansion in the market.”
