Southwest Airlines has extended its bookable flight schedule through January 5, 2020, and announced new routes and added service now available for booking.
Effective October 1, Southwest will begin operating new flights from Long Beach (LGB) to Oakland (OAK), San Jose (SJC), Sacramento (SMF) and Las Vegas (LAS), expanding options for Southern California travelers.
Starting November 3, Southwest will introduce daily nonstop service between Baltimore (BWI) and Greenville, North Carolina (GSP). On November 9, the airline will launch weekly Saturday flights between Boston (BOS) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL).
In addition to these new routes, Southwest is resuming seasonal winter service in November to several warm-weather destinations across the Caribbean and Central America. Seasonal flights will include popular leisure markets such as Cancún (CUN), Aruba (AUA) and San José, Costa Rica (SJO), restoring options for winter travelers seeking sun and beach destinations.
These schedule extensions and new services give travelers more choices for both domestic connections and seasonal getaways. Passengers are encouraged to check Southwest’s official schedule and booking tools for exact frequencies, times and availability as the airline rolls out the updated network through early January.
