Centrally located in downtown Boston and accessed through Yvonne’s restaurant and supper club, The Zebra Room elevates traditional steakhouse cuisine with refined, inventive dishes. Under Chief Culinary Officer Tom Berry, the menu reimagines classic favorites: mushrooms Romanoff made with locally sourced blue oyster mushrooms, onion beignets finished with osetra caviar, and baked potato flatties layered with Comté gratin and Boursin crème fraîche. Steak enthusiasts can choose from a carefully selected array of meats, including an olive snow wagyu NY strip, a Frenched rack of lamb, and a dry-aged heritage pork porterhouse.

The intimate venue, developed by COJE Management Group, blends tailored design elements with a warm, sophisticated atmosphere. Bespoke geometric wallpaper and rich burgundy banquettes sit beneath custom lighting by Sogni di Cristallo and a mirrored ceiling that casts a welcoming glow. The entrance is discreetly veiled by a bookcase, and the dining room contains just ten tables, creating an exclusive, private feeling. A subtle zebra motif complements original artworks by Junar Rodriguez, Halim Flowers, King Paris, Eser Gundez, and Francisco Valverde, alongside a gallery wall featuring ceramics by Glen Martin Taylor.
“With the Zebra Room, we created a space that exudes the hospitality we aspire to deliver and the kind of place where we want to be, to dine, to entertain our friends. In a way, we built this one for us,” said Chris Jamison, CEO and managing partner of COJE. “We took everything we loved about an iconic steakhouse and reimagined it in an intimate, elegant, and dynamic way.”

The Zebra Room also features a curated raw bar, a focused wine program led by Corporate Wine Director Nick Morisi, and craft cocktails from Director of Bars Ray Tremblay. Signature drinks include The Zebra Negroni and martinis poured tableside. Reservations are available by request through the restaurant’s website up to two weeks in advance. Dress code guidance favors polished attire; safari outfits are unnecessary.
