Sun Princess is sailing across Southeast Asia before relocating to Australia and New Zealand for the 2019 winter season. The ship now features an updated livery and a range of enhanced onboard offerings designed to improve the guest experience.
“Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand have always appealed to travellers, and cruising is one of the best ways to experience this part of the world,” said Jan Swartz, president, Princess Cruises. “We are pleased to offer guests sailing these regions our latest onboard features that elevate the cruise experience while exploring these beautiful destinations.”
Club Class Mini-Suites represent a new premium stateroom category that includes VIP amenities and exclusive dining options. Guests in these accommodations benefit from Club Class Dining—a reserved dining area with expedited seating and expanded menu choices—along with priority embarkation and disembarkation for a smoother start and finish to their cruise.
Camp Discovery serves younger passengers, ages 17 and under, and is part of the cruise line’s Discovery at SEA program. Children and teens are grouped by age for activities focused on discovery, play, creative projects and socializing, providing age-appropriate entertainment and opportunities to make new friends on board.
Shopping on board has also been upgraded with new products and brands in the Shops of Princess. Additions include an Effy Fine Jewelry boutique, Princess-branded athletic wear and apparel, and designer selections from established fashion labels such as Burberry, Coach, Longchamp and Guess.
Overall, the Sun Princess update combines refreshed visual design with enhanced amenities across staterooms, youth programming and retail, aiming to deliver a more comfortable, engaging and stylish cruise experience for guests visiting Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand this season.
