W Florence has launched a collaboration with Florentine designer Domenico Orefice as part of its Crafted in Florence Suite Experience. This new partnership, the designer’s first in hospitality, offers overnight guests an exclusive handcrafted leather bag to take home.

Guests who book the Crafted in Florence Suite Experience receive the elegant leather bag on arrival in their suite. The package also includes a dining credit valid across the hotel’s outlets, including the new aperitivo venue Zefiro Rooftop. As part of the collaboration, Zefiro Rooftop and the W Lounge will feature a signature cocktail that nods to leather craftsmanship with a twist on the classic negroni. Called Lure, the cocktail will be added to the lounge’s à la carte menu starting June 16.
The bag is made from soft, tanned leather and comes in three colorways: black, terracotta and beige. Design details include a braided handle fashioned using a traditional Florentine technique, adjustable straps, removable fringe and multiple interior compartments for convenient organization. The result is a versatile, artisanal piece that reflects the city’s heritage while fitting contemporary needs.
