Topsail Island serves as a sea turtle sanctuary and is home to a Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center. Visitors may learn about loggerhead, green, leatherback and Ridley sea turtles and the conservation work aimed at protecting them. © Marie-claire Lander | Dreamstime.com
