New York’s iconic Waldorf Astoria Hotel is expanding to two new West Coast locations over the next five years. The first luxury property is scheduled to open this spring in Beverly Hills, California, with a second location planned for San Francisco by 2021.
Mirroring the flagship in New York, the upcoming Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills will operate as both a hotel and a private residence. The 12-story development will offer 170 rooms, including 51 exclusive suites, and will provide sweeping views across the surrounding neighborhoods. For panoramic sights of the City of Angels, guests can visit the rooftop, which will feature the area’s largest rooftop pool.
Dining will highlight local Californian ingredients prepared daily by acclaimed chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The property will also include a 5,000-square-foot spa, 6,300 square feet of meeting space, and a dedicated area for special events, creating a full-service luxury destination for visitors and residents alike.
