The Viceroy Hotel Group has announced its expansion into the Middle East with the opening of its first Dubai property, the Viceroy Dubai Palm Jumeirah. Slated to open in 2017, the hotel will be situated on the iconic Palm Jumeirah island, roughly a 15-minute drive from Dubai’s downtown and within easy reach of Dubai Marina and the Dubai International Financial Centre.
The development will offer 481 well-appointed guestrooms, multiple dining options, a full-service spa, dedicated meeting and event space, and a beachfront club featuring a 330-foot-long swimming pool. Designed to cater to both leisure and business travelers, the property aims to combine contemporary design with attentive service and a variety of amenities.
This Dubai opening marks Viceroy Hotel Group’s second property in the United Arab Emirates, following the Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi, which debuted in 2009. The group currently manages hotels across the United States, the Caribbean, Mexico and the Maldives, and has additional projects planned in Turkey, including new openings in Istanbul.
Positioned on one of Dubai’s most recognizable landmarks, the Viceroy Dubai Palm Jumeirah will capitalize on the island’s appeal to international tourists and residents alike. Its proximity to key business and leisure districts makes it an attractive option for guests seeking modern luxury with convenient access to the city’s main attractions.
With a comprehensive mix of accommodations, dining venues and recreational facilities, the new Viceroy property aims to enhance the hospitality landscape on Palm Jumeirah and strengthen the brand’s presence in the region. The introduction of this hotel reflects Viceroy’s broader strategy of selective international growth and investment in high-profile urban and resort destinations.
