The Union Pearson Express begins service on June 6, offering a fast, reliable rail connection between Union Station in downtown Toronto and Terminal 1 at Toronto Pearson International Airport.
Trains run every 15 minutes in both directions during airport operating hours, seven days a week, completing the trip in approximately 25 minutes. The UP Express trains are designed for airport travellers, providing level boarding, generous luggage space and comfortable seating complete with table trays and power outlets.
Onboard digital displays show current flight information and highlight local events and attractions. At Union Station, travellers can find airline check-in kiosks and a pleasant mezzanine area to relax before departure. Intermediate stops include Weston and Bloor stations, making the service convenient for passengers across the city.
Adult fares are distance-based: a one-way ticket from Pearson to Union Station is $27.50, while a round-trip costs $53. Shorter trips that start or end at Weston or Bloor are priced proportionally lower, so passengers only pay for the portion of the route they use.
The UP Express focuses on efficiency and comfort for airport transfers, combining a frequent schedule, baggage-friendly cars and up-to-date passenger information to streamline travel between Toronto’s core and its main international airport.
