Air France and Cyprus Airways Announce New Codeshare Partnership

Air France and Cyprus Airways have signed a codeshare agreement to expand connections between Paris, Cyprus and Greece. Under this partnership, Air France will market flights operated by Cyprus Airways on several routes: Larnaca (LCA) to Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG); Larnaca to Athens (ATH); Athens to Heraklion (HER); and Athens to Rhodes (RHO). In addition, Air France customers will be able to connect through Athens onto domestic services within Greece that are operated by Cyprus Airways.

Conversely, Cyprus Airways will sell seats on Air France-operated flights between Athens and Paris, improving onward connections for travelers between Greece and France. The agreement allows members of both airlines’ frequent-flyer programs—Air France’s Flying Blue and Cyprus Airways’ Sunmiles—to earn and redeem miles on all codeshare services, giving passengers more flexibility and reward options when booking.

To streamline operations and provide a smoother transfer experience for codeshare passengers, Cyprus Airways has relocated its Paris-Charles de Gaulle operations from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2, where Air France is based. This move reduces transfer times and simplifies connections for travelers arriving in or departing from Paris on codeshare itineraries.

The codeshare arrangement enhances route choices and scheduling options for customers traveling between France, Cyprus and Greece, and strengthens cooperation between the two carriers. Passengers can expect coordinated schedules, shared frequent-flyer benefits and improved airport transfers at CDG, all intended to make travel between these destinations more convenient.
