Star Alliance Asks Travelers to Share Their Best Travel Tips

Star Alliance invites travelers visiting any of its five branded lounges to share tips and recommendations on social media using the hashtag #irecommend. The promotion runs through March 31 and encourages guests to post their lounge experiences to help fellow travelers discover the best each space has to offer.

The five Star Alliance branded lounges are located at Buenos Aires (EZE), Los Angeles (LAX), Nagoya (NGO), Paris (CDG) and São Paulo (GRU). In each lounge, guests will find specially designed drink coasters that invite visitors to write a short recommendation, photograph it, and share that image on social networks. Star Alliance will select standout photos and comments to feature on staralliance.com and on the alliance’s social channels, highlighting authentic traveler perspectives.

Each branded lounge is crafted to reflect its local setting, from interior design to the food and beverage selection. Guests can expect signature drinks—both alcoholic and non-alcoholic—that showcase local flavors alongside comfortable seating, workspaces, and amenities tailored for short waits or longer layovers. The lounges aim to provide a sense of place while delivering consistent service and comforts expected by frequent flyers.

The campaign adds an element of friendly competition for Star Alliance’s frequent travelers: anyone who is first to collect and post five coaster photos—one from each branded lounge—by March 31 will stand out in the community and may receive recognition when Star Alliance features the best contributions.

Beyond the five branded locations, Star Alliance’s global network reaches more than 1,330 destinations and offers access to over 1,000 lounges. This extensive lounge network includes airline-owned facilities, third-party lounges and the branded Star Alliance lounges, making it the most comprehensive lounge offering among airline alliances.
