The Peninsula’s signature afternoon tea receives a Valentine’s Day twist. Available through March 2 in The Living Room, the special tea service features Valentine-themed pastries, Champagne, a selection of distinctive teas, and a variety of sweet and savory bites. On Valentine’s Day, a poet will be on site from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. to craft haikus and sonnets for guests. Reservations are recommended.

Couples and friends can also take part in an intimate cake-decorating class led by the hotel’s pastry chef and Food Network personality James Rosselle. The class, ideal for a Galentine’s or Valentine’s outing, takes place Feb. 12 from 5–7:30 p.m. Guests will learn to design their own heart-shaped cake while enjoying Champagne and light bites. Space is limited, so book early.

On Valentine’s Day, the hotel’s in-house florist will present an on-site flower cart offering curated floral arrangements from morning through late afternoon. That evening, guests can savor a four-course Valentine’s Day dinner at The Belvedere. Reservations are suggested to secure preferred seating.
