Ritz-Carlton New York Central Park Reopens After Luxury Renovation

The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park has completed a multi-phase refurbishment, culminating in refreshed social areas, updated dining options and enhanced wellness and fitness facilities.

“The transformation our hotel has seen over the course of this past year truly redefines luxury in Manhattan,” said Winfred van Workum, general manager, The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park. “Combining a bold vision and inspiration with our legendary service, the vibrant energy of the city and Central Park shines through each of the spaces and provides a renewed oasis in the heart of New York City.”

A new gastro lounge adjacent to the lobby offers a day-to-night destination for cocktails and contemporary small plates. The social area unfolds across three interconnected rooms with varied seating configurations to suit intimate conversations or lively gatherings. The central bar, finished in marble with bronze and gold accents, is framed by a Matisse sketch and serves artisanal beverages alongside a menu of shareable dishes.

The redesigned fitness center features modern equipment and a program of virtual and scheduled group classes throughout the week. Offerings include Peloton bikes, a rowing machine and a full-length ballet barre to support cardio, strength and flexibility training. An added convenience is a hydration station providing on-tap still and sparkling water, complemented by all-natural wellness flavor infusions.
