Raffles Hotels & Resorts has announced its Italian debut: Raffles Lake Como, scheduled to open in 2027. This will be the brand’s first property in Italy and its fifth hotel in Europe, marking a significant step in the company’s expansion across prestigious resort destinations.
The historic Grand Hotel Imperiale will be fully renovated and reimagined as Raffles Lake Como. In partnership with CL Hotel SPA, the Art Nouveau villa on the western shore of Lake Como in Moltrasio will be transformed into a luxury retreat. The hotel is planned to include 84 guestrooms, among them 18 suites and two private villas, offering a range of accommodations designed for comfort and refinement.
Raffles Lake Como will emphasize lakeside living and personalized service. Expected amenities include lakeside dining experiences, dedicated butler service, both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a spa and fitness center, a beach club and private access to the lake. These features aim to combine the region’s scenic charm with the brand’s signature attention to detail and hospitality.
