New Renaissance Rural Retreat Opens in France: Explore the Revival

Renaissance Hotels has opened a new country-house style hotel on the grounds of the Paris Leisure Club, one of the city’s most exclusive private leisure clubs. Situated about 15 minutes by car from central Paris, the 110-room Renaissance Paris Hippodrome de St. Cloud offers a peaceful retreat with easy access to the capital.

The property blends classic country-house charm with contemporary amenities. Guests can enjoy a nine-hole golf course, a comprehensive fitness center, and a wellness area that features an outdoor pool and treatment cabins. The hotel also participates in the Renaissance Hotels’ Navigator concierge program, designed to connect visitors with distinctive local cultural experiences. One recommended excursion is the Chateau de La Malmaison, an elegant 18th-century manor that was once the residence of Napoleon Bonaparte.

Dining at the hotel is centered on the restaurant ‘H’, which highlights classic French cuisine prepared with seasonal ingredients. The menu includes refined dishes such as lobster ravioli accompanied by vegetable minestrone and a lobster salad paired with potatoes from the French island of Noirmoutier, reflecting regional produce and culinary tradition.

For business travelers and event planners, the Renaissance Paris Hippodrome de St. Cloud provides six on-site meeting spaces and convenient access to the 12 meeting rooms located at the neighboring Paris Country Club. These facilities support small to mid-size gatherings, combining professional services with the relaxed atmosphere of the club grounds.

The addition of this hotel expands Renaissance Hotels’ presence in France, joining five other properties in the brand’s national portfolio. The new country-house destination offers a quieter alternative to city-center stays while keeping Paris’s cultural attractions within easy reach.
