New All-Business-Class Airline Launches Luxury Transatlantic Service

Qatar Airways has launched a new all-premium service between its hub at Doha International Airport and London Heathrow Airport, becoming the first carrier to operate an all-business-class route from London Heathrow. The airline now flies the Business One service daily using Airbus A319 aircraft configured 2-2 with 40 seats. Each seat converts into a fully flat bed and features Qatar Airways’ Oryx entertainment system, offering more than 1,000 movies, shows and audio options.

This additional daily flight increases Qatar Airways’ Doha–London frequency from 35 to 42 weekly services, responding to strong and growing demand on the route. Akbar Al Baker, CEO of Qatar Airways, commented that the Doha–London Heathrow service remains one of the carrier’s most popular Business Class routes. The new all-premium flight complements the airline’s enhanced ground products, including the Qatar Airways Premium Lounge at London Heathrow’s Terminal 4 and the Premium Terminal in Doha, delivering a consistent high-quality business-class experience for travelers.

The dedicated Business One service targets premium travelers seeking a focused, high-comfort journey between Doha and London. By operating the A319 in an all-business layout, Qatar Airways provides a streamlined onboard product with increased privacy, lie-flat seating and advanced inflight entertainment tailored to business-class passengers and those connecting across its global network.

In addition to the onboard enhancements, Qatar Airways’ expanded schedule offers greater flexibility for passengers planning business or leisure travel. The increased frequency helps create more connection options through Doha, benefiting customers traveling onward to and from Europe, Asia, Africa and beyond.

Qatar Airways’ expansion of premium offerings on the Doha–London corridor underlines the airline’s focus on elevating the business-class travel experience both in the air and on the ground. With daily all-business flights, lie-flat seats and a comprehensive entertainment library, the carrier continues to differentiate its premium product among transcontinental services.
