Myrtle Beach UFO Sightings: Top Recent Reports & Where to Watch

Planning a spring golf trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., and bringing the family along? Make the getaway memorable by adding a stop at Encounters: UFO Experience. Presented by Intergalactic Brands, this interactive attraction blends entertainment and education with a simulated alien abduction, seven themed galleries featuring eyewitness accounts and artifacts, and information that separates myth from fact. The exhibit also documents the 44 reported sightings that took place in Myrtle Beach during 2013.

Designed for families, the experience offers a range of hands-on activities: Alien Hunter laser tag, a participatory alien “autopsy,” a propulsion exhibit with magnet-controlled UFO models, and a historical overview of alien visitation reports. The schedule includes a speaker series that has featured well-known UFO researchers, such as Stanton Friedman, author of Flying Saucers and Science. The exhibit runs Thursday through Saturday through May 30, and then daily from May 31 through September 21. You’ll find the UFO Experience at Broadway at the Beach across from Margaritaville — easy to spot thanks to a giant flying saucer extending from the building.

Whether you’re combining family fun with a golf vacation or just exploring Myrtle Beach’s attractions, Encounters: UFO Experience offers an engaging, curiosity-driven stop that appeals to visitors of all ages.
