Meet the New General Manager Leading The Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia

The Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia has named Leonard Buckley as its new general manager. Buckley brings 39 years of hospitality management experience to the role.

A Philadelphia native, Buckley earned a marketing degree from Drexel University. Before his tenure with Starwood Hotels and Resorts, he held positions at Canadian Pacific Franklin Plaza, the Bellevue Hotel, and with Cunard Hotels. He joined Starwood in 1999 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Airport Complex and later served at the Sheraton Park Ridge Hotel and Conference Center and the Sheraton Philadelphia Society Hill Hotel.

In addition to his hotel leadership roles, Buckley serves as a subject matter expert for hotel ownership groups, providing support across several brands including Westin Hotels & Resorts, Le Méridien Hotels, Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, and The Luxury Collection.
