Korean Air has expanded its codeshare partnership with LAN Peru to improve connections between Lima and Seoul and boost passenger flow between Peru and Asia. Under the updated agreement, the two carriers will codeshare on the Seoul (ICN)–Los Angeles (LAX)–Lima (LIM) routing. This arrangement enables Korean Air customers to connect in Los Angeles onto LAN Peru flights to Lima, while LAN Peru travelers can use Korean Air service between Los Angeles and Seoul.
Felix Antelo, CEO of LAN Peru, said the agreement strengthens the airline’s connectivity and offers passengers easier access to Asian destinations through Seoul. He noted that Peru’s economic growth and strategic location make Lima an increasingly important hub for LATAM Airlines Group and for regional travel within South America. The expanded codeshare arrangement is intended to streamline transfers, expand route options, and support growing demand for travel between the continent and Asia.
