Kenya Airways: Experience a New Era of Travel

Kenya Airways, a prominent African carrier and SkyTeam member, will begin a new daily non-stop service between New York (JFK) and Nairobi (NBO) on Oct. 29. Operating from its hub at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, the airline serves more than 52 destinations worldwide, including 43 across Africa, and carries over 3 million passengers each year. Kenya Airways maintains a modern fleet of 32 aircraft, highlighted by its flagship Boeing 787 Dreamliners.

Kenya Airways will deploy the Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the New York–Nairobi route. The daily service features 30 Premier World (business class) seats, each offering a 75-inch pitch and a fully flat bed with leather footrests, laptop stowage and privacy-enhancing armrests. Economy class on the Dreamliner provides a comfortable 32-inch seat pitch, articulating seat bottoms for improved legroom, four-way adjustable headrests, handset-equipped seatbacks and large 10.6-inch touch-screen monitors. Every seat includes a USB port, and power sockets are positioned throughout the cabin for passenger convenience.

The Dreamliner interior showcases features designed for passenger comfort: programmable LED mood lighting, large electronically dimmable windows, roomy seating and generous overhead bins that allow travelers to bring the essentials on board.

Passengers in Premier World will enjoy the airline’s Chef on Board program, featuring acclaimed chefs from across Africa who craft menus with local ingredients and ethical packaging. Complementary signature beverages such as Tamarind, Coconut Pineapple and Mint, along with Kenyan Iced Tea, round out the service.

The terminal features more than 10 boarding gates and seating for up to 1,700 travelers, providing ample space to relax before departure.
