Marriott International marked a key milestone in its Southeast Asia expansion with the opening of the JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi. This launch follows the brand’s recent openings in Bengaluru and New Delhi, making Hanoi the third JW Marriott property to debut in Asia in the last two months.
“Hanoi has earned its place as a must-visit destination, and we are delighted to join the city at this exciting moment,” said Mitzi Gaskins, vice president and global brand manager for JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts. “With more than 30 hotels currently in our pipeline and roughly half of those slated for Asia, our investment in dynamic markets like Vietnam reflects a long-term commitment to growth across the region.”
The hotel spans 800,000 square feet and features 450 guest rooms. Located in Hanoi’s emerging Central Business District and adjacent to the National Convention Center, the property is positioned to serve both business and leisure travelers. Guests can choose from a selection of six restaurants and bars. Dining highlights include the French Grill, which offers French-inspired cuisine with seafood, prime steaks, and a curated selection of wines and spirits, and a Cantonese restaurant focusing on traditional flavors and refined techniques.
The new JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi adds to the city’s luxury accommodation options and supports Hanoi’s development as a regional hub for conferences, cultural tourism, and international visitors. Its proximity to the National Convention Center makes it a convenient choice for events and large gatherings, while the hotel’s dining and amenities aim to appeal to both local residents and travelers seeking high-quality service and culinary experiences.
As Marriott continues to expand across Asia, the JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi represents both a strategic investment in Vietnam’s hospitality market and a broader trend of luxury hotel growth in Southeast Asia. The property’s facilities and location are designed to meet the needs of sophisticated travelers and event planners, enhancing Hanoi’s capacity to host business meetings, cultural events, and international tourists.
For travelers, the hotel offers a contemporary luxury experience anchored by attentive service, varied dining options, and a convenient address near Hanoi’s key venues. For the city, the opening contributes to the hospitality landscape by bringing international standards of service and culinary variety to the Central Business District.
