InterContinental has announced a new hotel coming to Bellevue, Washington. The property is a new-build luxury hotel scheduled to open in 2021 as part of a two-tower mixed-use development.
Located in downtown Bellevue, the InterContinental Bellevue at The Avenue will feature more than 250 guestrooms, two bars and restaurants, and over 14,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space suitable for conferences, weddings, and corporate gatherings.
This hotel marks the brand’s first InterContinental property in the Pacific Northwest, continuing InterContinental’s expansion along the West Coast following recent openings in Los Angeles and San Diego.
The hotel will occupy the first 11 floors of a 26-story tower within The Avenue development. The larger project includes luxury residences, retail storefronts, dining concepts, and nightlife venues, creating a walkable urban destination. As part of the Seattle metropolitan area, Bellevue offers convenient access to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and a variety of regional outdoor attractions and recreational opportunities.

Construction on the hotel is scheduled to begin later this year, moving the project toward its anticipated 2021 opening.
