IHG Launches Business Edge: New Corporate Loyalty Program for Travelers

InterContinental Hotels Group has launched a new program tailored specifically for small- and medium-sized enterprises.

Called IHG Business Edge, the program simplifies contract negotiations, rewards loyalty and centralizes data, bookings and content within an easy-to-use customer portal, according to IHG.

Development of the program took one year and incorporated feedback from 2,100 SME customers worldwide. A pilot phase included 300 companies across 17 countries, and more than 1,500 businesses registered interest prior to the official rollout.

To qualify, companies must have fewer than 250 employees, annual revenue under $50 million and a minimum annual spend of $5,000 with IHG. Once enrolled, a company’s travel manager gains access to a comprehensive overview of travel activity, including hotel spend, room nights and average daily rate for the previous 12 months.

Travel managers at eligible organizations can register through the IHG Business Edge portal.
