Hilton Worldwide has announced the expansion of its Hilton Garden Inn brand with plans to open a new property in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. The Hilton Garden Inn Al Khobar is scheduled to open in mid-2017 and will be situated in the heart of Al Khobar, offering easy access to King Fahd International Airport (DMM) and the well-known King Fahd Causeway, the bridge that connects Saudi Arabia with Bahrain.
The hotel will offer 150 guest rooms and a range of amenities designed for both leisure and business travelers. Facilities will include a fitness center, an outdoor pool, a business center, a lobby lounge and an all-day dining restaurant. In addition, the property will provide meeting and event spaces suitable for corporate gatherings and social events.
Rudi Jagersbacher, president of Hilton Worldwide for the Middle East & Africa, commented on the development: “Al Khobar and the wider Dammam region in the Eastern Province present an exciting opportunity for Hilton Worldwide. The area is experiencing rapid commercial and industrial growth, and continued demand for high-quality hotels will be important to support the city’s ongoing progress and prosperity.”
