As we approach our 10-year anniversary in February 2014, Global Traveler is preparing to mark a decade of recognizing excellence in travel with the 10th annual GT Tested Reader Survey awards. These awards, determined by our readers, celebrate the best in airlines, airports, hotels and loyalty programs. The winners will be revealed in the December 2013 issue.
To honor sustained excellence, this year’s awards include a special 10-Year Hall of Fame recognition. Seven travel companies are nominated for inclusion in GT’s Hall of Fame. If any of these companies win in 2013, they will have earned their title every year since the awards began, demonstrating a decade of consistent top performance as judged by our knowledgeable, well-traveled readers.
The 2013 Hall of Fame nominees represent a range of sectors across the travel industry: full-service carriers, an airport, a hotel brand and a credit card rewards program. Each nominee has shown a long-term commitment to quality and service, earning the trust and votes of travelers year after year.

The GT Tested Reader Survey is open and invites readers to cast their votes for these and other nominees. Your input helps recognize the companies that deliver outstanding travel experiences, from onboard service and airport operations to loyalty programs and hotel stays. The survey collects feedback on performance, consistency and innovation, and your vote contributes directly to the final rankings.
Voting is available in the print edition of Global Traveler and online. The survey runs through August, allowing ample time for readers to review categories and submit their choices. Participation from frequent flyers and occasional travelers alike ensures a broad perspective on who truly stands out in the industry.
Finalists and winners gain visibility among a dedicated audience of experienced travelers and industry professionals. Earning a GT Tested award — and especially a Hall of Fame designation — signals a sustained commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction. For companies, it represents both recognition of past achievements and motivation to continue improving the travel experience for passengers and members.
Readers who want to participate can find the ballot in the May print edition and online. We encourage all readers to review the nominees and vote to help crown this year’s winners and potentially induct a new class into GT’s 10-Year Hall of Fame.
