Frontier Airlines has announced a significant network expansion, adding 21 new cities to its route map.
The move increases the airline’s destinations by about 30 percent and nearly doubles the number of nonstop routes. By spring 2018, Frontier expects to serve destinations that cover roughly 90 percent of the U.S. population.
The expansion introduces 85 new routes and extends winter service in several important southern markets, giving travelers more nonstop options throughout the year. The airline has published a complete list of the new services on its website.
“We are proud to announce the nationwide expansion of our unique brand of Low Fares Done Right which will empower millions more people to afford to fly,” said Barry Biffle, CEO of Frontier Airlines.
“We project this will save our customers over a billion dollars annually on their flights. These new flights will allow us to serve even more of America and make flying a truly affordable option.”
