Beginning Feb. 2, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide will offer complimentary Internet access to Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) members who book their stays through Starwood’s official digital channels. This includes reservations made on the company’s corporate and brand websites, mobile sites, and via the SPG app. The benefit applies at participating Starwood properties worldwide.
“With the seismic shift toward digital — especially for travelers who are constantly on the move — our SPG members view reliable, high-quality Internet as a basic necessity, on par with a comfortable bed,” said Chris Holdren, Senior Vice President, SPG and Digital at Starwood. “Providing free in-room Internet removes a common travel frustration and rewards the loyalty of SPG members who choose to stay with us.”
