The Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon is now offering takeaway service, so you don’t need to dress up to enjoy its fine-dining cuisine. Locals and visitors staying elsewhere can order the hotel’s signature dishes to go. The takeaway menu covers a wide range: breakfast assortments, lunchtime sandwiches and salads, cocktail canapés, and gourmet lunch boxes. These lunch boxes arrive in bespoke sustainable packaging and are available in five varieties, including vegetarian and options that are gluten- and lactose-free.
This new offering has been named Ritz Delicatessen.
“Ritz Delicatessen is a direct response to guest demand — and a delicious extension of Varanda Restaurant’s much-loved dishes and highly regarded chefs. For years now, a few of our ‘in the know’ regulars have been taking home our pastry chef’s famous mille-feuilles, colorful trays of sushi and sashimi and picture-perfect bite-size canapés, or contacting us to cater for various office events. So we thought, why not offer this and more to all Lisboans: Four Seasons fine-dining for homes and businesses around the city,” said Joachim Jacob, the hotel’s food and beverage director.
From this month the hotel’s sushi master and sommelier are also available to support events, including private dinners and corporate gatherings.
“As a team, we understand the challenges of preparing fine-dining food on demand. With the launch of Ritz Delicatessen, we aim to lighten that load for our fellow Lisboans and share The Ritz experience beyond the Hotel’s walls,” Jacob added.
