Adventures on the Gorge is offering thrill-seekers a premium fall glamping experience during Gauley Season at New River Gorge National Park & Preserve in West Virginia.
Gauley Season occurs when the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers releases water from Summersville Dam into the Gauley River below, creating exceptional whitewater conditions. These scheduled releases run through September and October, typically Friday through Monday, making it easy to plan long weekend trips around peak rafting days. This year’s release dates include Sept. 9–12, 16–19, 23–26; Sept. 30–Oct. 3; and Oct. 7–10 and 15–16.
