Silversea Opens Presale for The Cruise and the Sea World Voyage

Silversea Cruises has opened an exclusive pre-sale for its 2026 140-day World Cruise, titled “The Curious and the Sea.” Sailing aboard Silver Dawn, the voyage departs Fort Lauderdale on Jan. 6, 2026, and will visit a record number of ports for the line: 70 destinations across 37 countries. The itinerary includes 26 destinations that are either new to Silversea’s World Cruise program or have not been visited since 2020.

Barbara Muckermann, president and CEO of Silversea Cruises, described the itinerary as the most immersive and diverse voyage in the cruise line’s history. She emphasized that the itinerary blends bespoke experiences, exclusive access, and in-depth destination expertise, all delivered with Silversea’s signature luxury service. Guests can expect an extensive range of cultural and natural highlights across six continents.

Key segments and highlights of the itinerary include:

  • Fort Lauderdale to Lima, Jan. 6–19: The voyage begins with calls in Cozumel and Puerto Limón, a transit of the Panama Canal, and visits to Colón and Lima.
  • Lima to Papeete, Tahiti, Jan. 19–Feb. 7: This Pacific crossing includes stops at Easter Island, Nuku Hiva, Atuona, Fakarava and Bora Bora.
  • Papeete to Auckland, Feb. 7–24: Calls include Tonga’s Nukuʻalofa, New Caledonia’s Lifou and Nouméa, Norfolk Island, Aitutaki, Savusavu, Mystery Island and the Bay of Islands.
  • Auckland to Perth, Feb. 24–March 14: Australian ports of call include Hobart, Phillip Island, Penneshaw, Port Lincoln, Busselton, Melbourne and Adelaide.
  • Perth to Lisbon, March–May: The voyage continues westward with an extended sequence of crossings and port calls, including Perth to Singapore (March 14–30), Singapore to Mumbai (March 30–April 16), Mumbai to Jerusalem (April 16–30), Jerusalem to Split (April 30–May 12), and Split to Lisbon (May 12–27).
  • Land excursions: Guests can enhance the voyage with three optional overland tours—Uzbekistan (April 16–25), Luxor (April 26–30), and a Balkans tour (May 11–14).
