The Kimberly Hotel has teamed up again with the New York Health and Racquet Club to offer guests a chance to sail on the club’s 75-foot yacht. These three-hour cruises travel along the East River and circle Lower Manhattan, providing views of the city skyline and the Statue of Liberty.

The seasonal schedule runs through September/October 2014, weather permitting, and includes:

  • Wednesday Sunset Cruise: Boarding 6:10 p.m.; sailing 6:30–9:00 p.m.
  • Friday Sunset Cruise: Boarding 6:10 p.m.; sailing 6:30–9:30 p.m. (July and August only)
  • Saturday Brunch Cruise: Boarding 11:40 a.m.; sailing noon–2:00 p.m.
  • Saturday Sunset Cruise: Boarding 5:40 p.m.; sailing 6:00–9:00 p.m.

Boarding for the regular cruises takes place at the Skyport Marina at East 23rd Street and the FDR Drive. Tickets cost $26 and include a cold buffet; a cash bar is available aboard. Cruises are open to hotel guests 18 and older, except for the two-hour Saturday afternoon cruise, which admits children ages 3 and up.
