Experience Ultimate Luxury on Seabourn Cruises

Billed as “the world’s finest ultra-luxury cruise line,” Seabourn marks its 30th anniversary this year and continues to attract travelers who value modern, understated elegance. The line’s all-inclusive voyages visit more than 170 UNESCO World Heritage sites across regions including Australia, Asia, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Each ship carries between 458 and 600 guests; every stateroom is a suite with generous bathrooms and walk-in closets. Most beverages and gratuities are included, queues are minimal, and service is highly personalized to maintain a yacht-like ambiance.

This year Seabourn broadens its spa and wellness offerings with a new program designed by Dr. Andrew Weil that emphasizes yoga and meditation. The line also debuts a new specialty restaurant, The Grill by Thomas Keller, which serves American dishes inspired by the 1950s and 1960s at no additional charge. Entertainment onboard will feature new productions created by Tim Rice, known for his work on Broadway shows such as Aladdin and The Lion King.

Seabourn’s five-ship fleet continues to expand its global itineraries. Seabourn Odyssey heads to Europe this summer after completing 18 weeklong cruises in the Caribbean. Seabourn Quest spends the autumn season in Canada and New England before continuing southward to the Panama Canal, Antarctica and the Amazon. After a season in New Zealand, Australia and the South Pacific, the year-old Seabourn Encore will sail in Europe and the Mediterranean during the summer.

For travelers who prefer longer voyages and more remote ports, Seabourn Sojourn offers world cruises lasting up to 128 days, which can also be booked in shorter segments. Sojourn’s next extended voyage departs Oct. 15 from Los Angeles and includes notable calls across Oceania, Africa and Asia, with similar long itineraries available the following year.

The recent introduction of Seabourn’s fifth ship, the 600-passenger Seabourn Ovation, adds further options as the line enters its fourth decade. Featuring increased deck space and expanded public areas, Ovation will spend its inaugural season in the Mediterranean and Europe before traveling through the Middle East to India, Sri Lanka and Singapore. This winter Ovation will operate five 14-night sailings between Singapore and Hong Kong, and in March 2019 it will offer voyages to Dubai and Athens ahead of a second European season beginning in late April.

With an expanded selection of familiar and less-traveled destinations, Seabourn remains a leading choice for guests seeking to explore the world in refined, all-inclusive luxury.
