The new Hyatt Regency Beijing Shiyuan is located in Yanqing, an imperial retreat area northwest of downtown Beijing known for its natural scenery, mountain views, rivers and abundant wildlife. The hotel is conveniently positioned for guests wanting access to the Great Wall, Beijing’s city center and nearby event venues.
The property features nearly 300 guestrooms, including 19 suites, two Diplomat Suites and a presidential suite. Many rooms are designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, garden views and private balconies to highlight the surrounding landscape and provide a restful stay.
Dining options on-site include Chinese restaurants offering Cantonese and regional specialties, along with an open-kitchen concept that showcases live culinary preparation. A lobby lounge provides light refreshments and a relaxed atmosphere overlooking the garden.
“Our location combines convenient access to the Chinese capital with the accessibility to rejuvenate in nature,” said Stella Sun, general manager of Hyatt Regency Beijing Shiyuan. The hotel’s facilities are intended to suit a range of stays — from family retreats and weddings to corporate meetings. Spacious guestrooms and suites, varied dining choices, 24-hour wellness facilities and flexible meeting and event spaces aim to create a one-stop destination for any occasion.
Stephen Ho, president of Greater China, global operations at Hyatt, noted that as a new landmark in northwest Beijing the hotel looks forward to welcoming both local and international visitors to explore the history and natural attractions of Yanqing.
