Dog-Friendly Stay: Pet-Friendly Deal at Hilton Burlington

The downtown waterfront Hilton Burlington is offering a dog-friendly, charitable summer special called Come, Sit, Stay that invites guests to bring their dogs along while traveling. For each room booked with a pet, the hotel donates 20 percent of the room rate to the Chittenden County Humane Society to support animals in need.

Guests who bring dogs receive thoughtful, locally sourced amenities. Canine visitors are treated to Vermont Dog Eats products, a farm-to-bowl company that uses grass-fed beef, organic vegetables and eggs. In-room comforts include a Hilton deluxe pet bed and branded water and food bowls to ensure a comfortable stay for pets.

The hotel’s restaurant and lounge, Mounted Cat, welcomes dogs in outdoor areas and serves Bowser Beer, a non-alcoholic brew formulated for dogs with malt barley and added glucosamine to help joint health. Dogs can choose from flavors such as Beefy Brown Ale or Cock-a-Doodle Brew while owners enjoy Mounted Cat’s own lagers on the patio.

Recognized as the Chittenden County Humane Society’s 2014 Community Partner of the Year, Hilton Burlington also provides practical services for pet owners. A pet walking and relief area is located a short walk from the front door, and the hotel offers recommendations for nearby pet-friendly parks, beaches, boutiques and shops.

The Come, Sit, Stay special is available at the best available rate at the time of booking. There is no weight limit for pets, and a non-refundable $50 pet cleaning fee applies. This pet-friendly offering combines local products, thoughtful amenities and charitable support to make summer travel with dogs easier and more rewarding.
