B Resort & Spa has opened in the heart of the Downtown Disney area, providing an upscale base for visitors to Walt Disney World. Situated on the former Royal Plaza Hotel site and just minutes from the parks, the property offers 394 guestrooms and suites with contemporary blue-and-white décor and floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase views of nearby theme parks, lakes and nightly fireworks.
When guests are not exploring the parks, the resort offers a range of on-site amenities. An outdoor pool with interactive water features and a dedicated kid’s zone provide family-friendly recreation. The pool bar and grill serve casual meals and refreshments, while the B Indulged Spa by AVEDA, opening later this summer, will deliver personalized massages, facials, hair and makeup services and a nail boutique. Dining options on property include American Q, which presents modern takes on classic barbecue, and The Pickup, a coffee bar and ice cream shop offering snacks and sundries.
Business travelers are also well accommodated. The resort includes more than 25,000 square feet of flexible event space, featuring multiple boardrooms, modern ballrooms and a 5,000-square-foot terrace suitable for receptions and outdoor functions.
