Delta Air Lines is making sleep on board more comfortable for Delta One customers by introducing in-flight loungewear. The airline first rolled out these sleep-and-lounge suits on its longest routes from Los Angeles—specifically to Sydney (SYD) and Shanghai (PVG)—with plans to extend the offering to all flights between the United States and China beginning in March 2016.
“We know how important sleep is to our customers, especially on ultra-longhaul flights where they’re traveling thousands of miles halfway around the globe,” said Allison Ausband, senior vice president – in-flight services, Delta Air Lines. “With a full flat-bed seat, a Westin Heavenly duvet and now new Delta One loungewear, settling in on a long flight has never felt more like home.”
