A stylish, contemporary hotel located six blocks from the White House is the newest member of the Curio Collection by Hilton.
Now part of the global portfolio of upper-upscale independent hotels and resorts, this property is the Curio Collection’s first hotel in Washington, D.C. The Darcy Washington, D.C., Curio Collection by Hilton takes its name from a well-dressed, well-traveled fictional character and sits within easy walking distance of four Metro stations, the Logan Circle neighborhood, and the city’s major landmarks and monuments.
“The Darcy Washington, D.C., is as eclectic and remarkable as the District it serves, delivering a truly authentic experience for guests looking for one-of-a-kind discoveries,” said Mark Nogal, global head, Curio Collection by Hilton and Tapestry Collection by Hilton. “Newly recreated, The Darcy exudes the spirit of its destination through a unique ambience and local partnerships.”
Design throughout the hotel draws inspiration from the American Beauty Rose, the city’s official flower. The aesthetic blends European influences with modern touches—mixed woods, distressed metals, and bold colors combine to create an energetic yet refined atmosphere that mirrors the neighborhood’s dignified architecture and trendy dining scene.
The lobby feels like a carefully restored living room, featuring classic architectural details such as rose carvings on wooden archways, honeycomb-panel flooring, painted exposed brick, and patterned wallpaper. Contemporary artwork appears throughout the 266 guestrooms and public spaces, including botanical photography and abstract sculptures and prints that nod to Washington’s rich history.
Dining options include A Siren’s Song, which focuses on seafood sourced from global waters and pairs dishes with live jazz. The restaurant presents a blue-gray interior, a sleek counter wrapping the raw bar, and an outdoor dining area. Funky Fresh, a street-level venue, offers a relaxed hangout atmosphere with a Southern-inspired menu.
The Darcy provides versatile meeting and event space named in honor of prominent D.C. artists, socialites, and activists. The hotel offers five meeting, breakout, and board rooms accommodating up to 80 seated or 100 standing guests. For larger gatherings, the Logan Ballroom serves as an elegant setting for up to 200 guests and includes access to an outdoor patio.
Having opened in April, The Darcy is a stylish, upscale addition to Washington, D.C., offering visitors a locally authentic experience, thoughtfully designed spaces, and convenient access to the city’s key attractions.
