Cunard recently announced an exclusive partnership with two-Michelin-starred Chef Michel Roux. Roux will collaborate with Cunard’s culinary development team to design the gala menu for the Queens Grill restaurant aboard the new Queen Anne. In addition, he has created a refreshed menu for the Golden Lion pub, which will be introduced fleet-wide. The pub menu reimagines classic favorites and will debut on Queen Anne in May 2024 before rolling out across the rest of the fleet later in the year.

“It is an absolute privilege to be working with Cunard’s hugely talented and passionate culinary development chefs as we countdown to the launch of their newest ship Queen Anne,” said Michel Roux. “For me, there is no better recipe than blending high quality ingredients with elegant execution to create unforgettable experiences for diners, and I am incredibly excited to showcase our elevated, reimagined pub classics to Cunard guests very soon.”
Alongside Roux’s contributions, Cunard recently revealed four additional dining venues coming to Queen Anne: Aji Wa, Aranya, Sir Samuels and Tramonto. Aji Wa will offer creative, seasonally influenced Japanese cuisine with sushi and a special omakase tasting menu. Aranya presents an Indian dining concept designed as a multisensory experience. Sir Samuels will focus on premium British and Australian beef and fresh seafood. Tramonto will showcase a Mediterranean-inspired menu centered on bright, fresh flavors.

“We’re excited to share a flavor of what will be served on board Queen Anne in 2024,” said Matt Gleaves, VP, Commercial, Cunard North America. “Cunard is renowned for high quality dining options, and we’re delighted to be working with the very best chefs, at the top of their different culinary fields, to offer such a wide range of dining options to our guests. From embracing the best of Japan in our new sushi and sake bar to dining alfresco in Tramonto, or enjoying a pub meal in the Golden Lion, there really will be something for everyone.”
The collaboration with Chef Michel Roux reinforces Cunard’s commitment to refined dining and memorable culinary experiences. By combining Michelin-level culinary expertise with Cunard’s onboard traditions, the line aims to deliver diverse menus that appeal to a wide range of tastes, from elevated formal dining in the Queens Grill to relaxed, reinvented pub fare in the Golden Lion. Guests sailing aboard Queen Anne can expect thoughtfully curated dishes that emphasize quality ingredients, skilled execution and a variety of international flavors.
With these new venues and menu updates, Cunard continues to expand its food and beverage offerings, providing a balance of classic favorites and innovative cuisine. The rollout of the Golden Lion menu fleet-wide later in the year will allow more passengers to experience Roux’s reimagined pub classics, while the specialty restaurants on Queen Anne will bring new themed dining options to the line’s repertoire.
