American Glory is the second Coastal Cat in American Cruise Lines’ new series of 100-passenger ships. The vessel was recently christened in Mallory Square, the port where it will dock when calling on Key West as part of the new Florida Gulf Coast & Keys cruises.
“Docking in Mallory Square is a privilege, and we are honored to be a new small piece of the Key West community. We are grateful to Mayor Johnston and proud to have her as godmother of American Glory. We look forward to continuing to build on our partnership with Key West and other Florida coastal towns,” said Charles B. Robertson, president & CEO of American Cruise Lines.

The christening brought together local officials, community members, cruise guests and port representatives. The Honorable Teri Johnston served as the ship’s godmother, and the Victory Belles performed during the celebration.
This ceremony follows the launch of sister ship American Eagle in August 2023. American Glory will continue to operate the same itinerary through March, with additional sailings scheduled in November and December. Later this year, American Legend will join the Coastal Cat series, and through 2024 and 2025 the three vessels are planned to serve select East Coast itineraries, spanning from Maine to Florida.
American Glory features four decks and a distinctive catamaran bow. The ship’s design emphasizes comfort and understated elegance, offering private balcony accommodations and a variety of public spaces for its 100 guests. Indoor and outdoor lounges, a top deck, the main restaurant, a café and a fitness center provide a range of onboard amenities for relaxation and dining.
