Hilton has announced the opening of Conrad Chongqing, located in the Nan’an District and close to several natural attractions. The hotel occupies the Jiafa Cross-Border Trade Center and was designed by Hong Kong–based Cheng Chung Design, which drew inspiration from Chongqing’s dramatic mountainous skyline and surrounding natural landscape.

Alan Watts, president of Asia Pacific for Hilton, emphasized the property’s significance as the brand’s 700th hotel in Greater China, marking continued growth for Hilton in the region and positioning the company to bring its signature hospitality to more destinations.
Conrad Chongqing occupies floors 38–55 and offers 275 guest rooms, including 26 suites. The interiors use a refined palette of cream and grey and feature expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that frame city and river views. The lobby showcases striking 3-D artwork that reflects the hotel’s bold design language.
Dining options at the hotel include YU Chinese Restaurant, The PEAK, and MIST Lobby Bar, plus 3652, a hidden speakeasy-style venue. The property also provides nearly 3,000 square meters of pillarless meeting and event space, making it suitable for conferences and special occasions.
Dino Michael, senior vice president and global head of Hilton Luxury Brands, said the opening represents a milestone in Conrad Hotels & Resorts’ expansion across China. He noted that the hotel blends contemporary luxury with local culture to offer guests an immersive connection to Chongqing’s vibrant character.
