Autograph Collection Adds Three New Hotels to Its Luxury Portfolio

Autograph Collection Hotels is Marriott’s portfolio of 93 independent hotels around the world. The brand recently added three distinct properties: The Envoy in Boston, Grand Bohemian Hotel Mountain Brook in Birmingham, and The Citizen Hotel in Sacramento.

The Envoy is a contemporary hotel in Boston’s Innovation District, offering 136 rooms with artisan styling and views of the waterfront and city skyline. Design choices pair reclaimed wood accents with modern technology, while communal spaces merge vintage character with functional amenities—like a repurposed billiards table that serves as a touch-screen workstation. Dining at The Envoy includes the Lookout Rooftop Bar, which showcases city views, and the Outlook Kitchen, where guests can enjoy seasonal dishes and the hotel’s specially crafted house brew.

Grand Bohemian Hotel Mountain Brook in Birmingham is a 100-room boutique hotel with a strong emphasis on art and culinary experiences. The Grand Bohemian Art Gallery features rotating works by local, regional, and international artists, creating a cultured setting throughout the hotel. Food and beverage programming includes a rooftop restaurant and curated wine events led by experienced sommeliers. Guests can also attend hands-on sessions at the on-site Kessler Cooking School or relax at the Poseidon Spa.

The Citizen Hotel occupies Sacramento’s historic California Life Insurance Building, a landmark that dates to 1925. Each room is uniquely designed, offering individual layouts and varied views across downtown Sacramento from one of the city’s earliest high-rises. For meetings and special events, The Citizen provides approximately 9,000 square feet of flexible event space, including a notable 3,000 square-foot rooftop venue ideal for receptions, corporate gatherings, and celebrations.
