Marriott’s Autograph Collection Hotels has reopened the Hotel Elephant Weimar after a nine-month renovation. Situated on the city’s historic market square, the property has served as a cultural center for more than three centuries and has been carefully restored to highlight its heritage.
The boutique hotel offers just under 100 guestrooms, each redesigned to reflect the building’s history and character. Interior design draws on the elegance of 1920s Germany and pays homage to Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, one of Germany’s most influential literary figures, creating a refined blend of period detail and contemporary comfort.

Dining is centered on Restaurant AnnA, which emphasizes authentic regional cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients.
