Attico Rooftop Bar & Restaurant in Philadelphia offers a stylish setting to enjoy well-crafted food and panoramic views of the city. Popular for weekend brunches, the venue books quickly, so making reservations well in advance is recommended.
We arrived through the Cambria Hotel lobby, where a hostess escorted us to the elevator and up to the rooftop. The dining room is filled with lush botanical décor that gives the space a bright, greenhouse-like feel. The plants add a subtle, refreshing touch without being overpowering.
We chose a table on the outdoor deck to take in the sweeping views of downtown Philadelphia. It was breezy and cool, but patio heaters and a small electric fireplace made the space comfortably warm. Though the sun was shining, the elevation made the air feel crisper than at street level.

To start, we ordered espresso martinis—bold and smooth, an ideal mid-morning pick-me-up. My partner chose the crab melt, topped with melted Fontina and preserved lemon, served with a celery leaf salad. I had the spicy chicken and waffles with hot sauce and a rosemary-infused maple syrup. The chicken and waffles were particularly memorable; the flavors balanced well and I finished the dish wishing there was more. We sipped another espresso martini while enjoying the sunny view and letting the meal settle before asking for the check.
