The Andaz Singapore’s on-site restaurant 665ºF, conceived by Hong Kong-based André Fu Studio, has expanded with a new private dining area called The Cellar. The 1,300-square-foot room, narrow and intimate, was transformed from a former engineering plant room adjacent to 665ºF’s main dining space into a refined wine-forward enclosure that stores roughly 400 bottles of premium Old and New World labels.
“Our first impression was that its rectangular shape was reminiscent of a cellar,” said André Fu, the studio’s founder and creative director. “But cellars are typically located below ground. So, the design proposition became this idea of bringing the cellar up 38 floors into the sky. What kind of cellar would this look and feel like?”

The Cellar accommodates intimate gatherings: the main dining hall seats 20 guests, while an adjoining private room seats an additional eight. A vaulted ceiling gives the room a sense of volume, and a warm palette of burgundy and teal complements timber-lined overhead surfaces. Copper shelving runs along the walls, housing the wine collection and adding a tactile metallic accent to the otherwise warm interior.
Menu offerings match those of 665ºF, with starters such as lobster bisque and beef tartare, and mains including cedar plank King salmon and various beef cuts, including Wagyu striploin. The pared-back, sophisticated setting is intended to enhance both wine pairing and focused, celebratory dining.

The smaller private dining room is distinguished by a feature wall of semi-circular timber insets paired with mirrors, creating depth and a handcrafted texture. Large windows are integrated into the design, offering sweeping views of the city and flooding the space with natural light during the day, while creating an intimate urban backdrop at night.
Furnishings were chosen for comfort and character: deep-orange, ribbed-back chairs and kidney-bean shaped sofas appear throughout, reinforcing the room’s warm color story and inviting atmosphere. The overall design balances the romance and tradition of a classic wine cellar with contemporary finishes and city-level vistas, delivering an elevated private-dining experience that feels both exclusive and welcoming.
The Cellar extends the culinary and hospitality offering at 665ºF by providing an intimate, wine-focused setting that complements the restaurant’s existing menu and service. Its thoughtful material choices, tailored lighting and curated seating make it suitable for small celebrations, business dinners or immersive tasting events, all within the refined context of Andaz Singapore’s high-rise location.
