Brussels Airlines has elevated comfort and hospitality with the opening of The Loft at Brussels Airport. The new business lounge emphasizes comfort, modern technology, thoughtful design and Belgian gastronomy.
The Loft continues Brussels Airlines’ recent investments to enhance the passenger experience across short- and long-haul services. Situated in the A Pier, the lounge serves business-class travelers and frequent flyers, offering a relaxed and efficient pre-flight environment.
At four times the size of the previous facility, The Loft can accommodate up to 300 guests. The 13,347-square-foot space is organized into eight distinct hubs, each designed for a specific purpose such as relaxation, work, dining or freshening up. The layout and services reflect direct input from frequent travelers to ensure practical, passenger-focused features.
To create an integrated digital experience, Brussels Airlines collaborated with Microsoft and Designit, a leading European strategic design and innovation firm. Guests can borrow a Surface Pro 3 for the length of their stay to use an app that connects to the airline’s digital lounge assistant.
The lounge app, called Connected Lounge, enables users to reserve a shower room, check availability of nap boxes and book meeting rooms. It also provides real-time flight updates and on-demand video entertainment at no extra charge. Travelers who prefer to use their own devices can install the Connected Lounge app and access the same services and information.
Beyond technology, The Loft places a strong emphasis on Belgian culinary offerings, with food and beverage options designed to showcase local quality and flavor. Comfortable seating areas, quiet zones for work or rest, and dedicated spaces for informal meetings make the lounge versatile for different traveler needs.
Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, power outlets throughout the lounge and thoughtful lighting to create a calm atmosphere. The design blends contemporary elements with warm touches to reflect both efficiency and hospitality.
By combining expanded space, user-driven design and connected services, The Loft aims to deliver a seamless pre-flight experience. Whether guests seek a quiet place to work, a spot to relax before departure or quick access to practical facilities, the lounge provides tailored options to improve the journey from airport to aircraft.
The Loft represents a step forward in Brussels Airlines’ commitment to passenger comfort, integrating digital convenience with locally inspired hospitality to meet the needs of modern travelers.
