Aeromexico Launches Direct Flights Between Mexico City and Toronto

Aeromexico is expanding its Canadian network with a new route to Vancouver. Beginning Dec. 5, the airline will offer daily nonstop service between Mexico City International Airport and Vancouver International Airport. Flights will be operated with 124-seat Boeing 737 aircraft, including 12 Clase Premier seats in Aeromexico’s business-class cabin. Vancouver becomes Aeromexico’s third destination in Canada, complementing existing routes to Toronto Pearson International Airport and Montréal–Trudeau International Airport.

“We already have a presence in eastern and central Canada, and the addition of Vancouver allows us to serve the country’s west as well,” said Anko van der Werff, Aeromexico’s chief revenue officer. “Vancouver International Airport is one of Canada’s busiest hubs, and the city combines striking natural beauty with a dynamic business environment and a strong technology sector. Its appeal to both leisure and corporate travelers aligns with our international growth strategy and offers year-round demand for reliable connections between Mexico and western Canada.”

The new daily service strengthens Aeromexico’s transborder connectivity across North America, offering travelers more options for direct travel between Mexico City and Canada’s west coast. The 124-seat Boeing 737 provides a balance of comfort and efficiency for this route, while Clase Premier delivers enhanced amenities and seating for business-class passengers. The addition of Vancouver supports Aeromexico’s broader international expansion and reflects ongoing demand for convenient, nonstop flights linking major urban centers across the Americas.

By expanding into Vancouver, Aeromexico enhances its ability to serve a variety of passengers, from tourists seeking outdoor and cultural experiences to business travelers engaged with the region’s growing tech and commercial sectors. The route will facilitate greater mobility for leisure travelers and professionals alike, while providing seamless connections through Mexico City to Aeromexico’s wider global network.

Travelers interested in the new Vancouver service can expect daily frequency, modern single-aisle aircraft with business-class seating, and the carrier’s customary onboard service. As with any schedule launch, travelers should check flight availability and booking details directly with Aeromexico or through official booking channels for the most up-to-date information.
