James New York Hotel to Open This Summer — What to Expect

A new, modern lodging option arrives in New York City this summer with the opening of The James New York–NoMad.

The James New York–NoMad joins The James West Hollywood–Sunset, which opened in May, marking a notable step in the brand’s evolution. Each property emphasizes connection, consciousness and community, and reflects a locally inspired, thoughtfully curated approach.

“The James New York–NoMad brings another distinct personality to our family,” says Carl Cohen, CEO of Denihan Hospitality Group. “As we introduce new properties over the coming year, The James Hotels will be recognized for delivering mindfully elevated experiences.”

Ideally positioned at 29th Street and Madison Avenue, The James New York–NoMad offers an urban retreat in the heart of Manhattan. Minutes from Madison Square Park, Gramercy Park and the Flatiron District, the hotel provides an excellent base for visitors exploring the city’s neighborhoods and attractions.

Housed in a striking Beaux-Arts building that reflects a classic New York heritage dating to the early 20th century, the hotel features 344 designer guestrooms and suites. Each room is designed as a private sanctuary for the contemporary traveler, combining comfort with modern style.

On-site amenities include 4,500 square feet of flexible event space, highlighted by a grand ballroom that accommodates up to 250 guests, four private meeting rooms, a comprehensive wellness program and enhanced in-room technology to support both leisure and business stays.

Guests booking for the opening can take advantage of an introductory offer of up to 30 percent off rooms and suites.
