Swiss Hotel Unveils Alpine Sports Lounge and Boutique

Kulm Hotel in St. Moritz, Switzerland, is introducing a fresh reason to visit the classic winter resort: the Kulm Alpine Sports Lounge & Boutique, opening for the 2025–2026 winter season.

Created by the acclaimed architecture firm Foster + Partners, the new space reimagines the traditional ski room by offering a tailored pre-ski experience. A dedicated ski concierge will be available to advise guests on conditions, routes and equipment choices, while on-site ski technicians handle fittings and adjustments to ensure optimal performance on the slopes. Visitors can also choose from energy shots and nutritious snacks to fuel their day before heading out.

The lounge balances comfort and function with generous seating, warm décor, a luxury retail area, a pantry-style kitchen and private fitting rooms. The layout is designed so guests can transition smoothly from their suite to the slopes, combining thoughtful design with practical services and expert support.

As part of its winter offering, Kulm Hotel will provide in-house guests with a complimentary ski and mountain pass for the duration of their stay, simplifying access to the region’s runs and lifts.

“Kulm Hotel St. Moritz has been the original winter playground ever since we welcomed our first winter guests in 1864,” said Heinz Hunkeler, general manager of Kulm Hotel. “In the same innovative spirit, we have set ourselves the task of rethinking what a ski room can be. The new Alpine Sports Lounge & Boutique is designed to take our guests from suite to slope in seamless style – blending design, service and expertise to ensure every day in the mountains is truly unforgettable.”

Kulm Hotel’s winter season runs from December 5, 2025 through April 6, 2026.
